A Note From Dave

Dave "GO-AR is the result of a life-long love affair with the outdoors and outdoor adventures. I grew up in the mountains south of Prescott where there were miles and miles of National Forest to explore, and I was just the kid to do it!
Those youthful days are gone now, but my passion for the outdoors remains, in fact stronger now than ever.
Treating others to outdoor adventures began when my son joined Boy Scouts, and I found myself taking the kids on some fantastic adventures. It was during these trips that I discovered that sharing the experience with other people was in itself the very best experience." Please visit my web log here.

Beautiful Prescott, Arizona

Nestled in a bowl shaped valley in the Bradshaw Mountains, Prescott is the perfect place for your Outdoor Adventure.

Founded in 1864 along the banks of Granite Creek, Prescott was the Arizona Territory's first Capitol. Now, no longer the State Capitol, it is without a doubt the Capitol of fun and exciting outdoor recreation.
Within just a few minutes drive, you can find big open praries, huge granite boulder formations, large stands of old oak trees, lakes, creeks, 7000' mountains, giant ponderosa pine trees, and aspen groves.
The weather can be cold enough to freeze a running creek, or hot enough (almost) to make a camel search for shade!
